Three days ago Super Typhoon Yolanda passed through the Philippines, it was said to be the biggest Typhoon in recorded history, this has turned out to be a disaster of the first magnitude. You will need no introduction or explanation as to what happened because of the constant coverage on the international media such as CNN at the moment.
The Ambassador Club of Davao is of course located in the Southern Philippines, and we are no stranger to helping out in an immediate, meaningful, and very much hands on fashion with previous such disasters in our region. You will recall our previous appeal and response to the Typhoon Sendong disaster in December 2011 which also affected our region
Members of the Ambassador Club International have humanity and human dignity as their focal point, so please help us to collectively bring just these qualities to bear on the unfortunate people affected by this latest disaster to affect The Philippines.
This is an unashamed appeal for cash donations no matter how big or how small so we can mount an appropriate aid project. You can count on us to spend every peso where it will do the most good, using our local knowledge and past experience we know just how to help the survivors best. Of course I personally will keep you informed on how your donation was used.
It would also help if you could pass on this page via your social media.
